Stay in a Shepherd’s Hut at Oxney Vineyard
The shepherd’s huts at Oxney, in the middle of 1066 country, are gorgeous and ingenious (how much can you get in to a small hut?) and located actually in the vineyard at Oxney (select facing Chardonnay - Dobson Hut, or Pinot Noir — Hunt Hut). Included are a tour & tasting of the Oxney award winning wines. And you can go for optional extras like a sundown basket filled with goodies and of course a chilled bottle of wine. |

Meet Bexhill Museum’s Latest Arrival
Meet Bexhill Museum’s newest arrival - and the first visitors to see it: a replica Tyrannosaurus rex skull, bought for the museum by our ambassador Suzy Eddie Izzard. The skull is a scientifically precise copy of an original discovered in Montana in 2015 and the most complete T. Rex skull yet found. The dinosaur was about 15 years old when it died, around 66 million years ago. See its fearsome teeth, take a photograph beside it, follow the children’s holiday dinosaur trail and discover real local fossils, including Joyce, Bexhill’s own iguanodon, found in nearby Turkey Road. |
