Early Years Stronger Practice Hubs Training Opportunity - Getting it right for twos training
Three-sessions of free online professional development programme, Getting it Right for Twos, designed for early years educators working with two-year-olds.
The programme focuses on evidence-based approaches and reflective practice, supporting practitioners to view provision through the eyes of the two-year-old.
Programme details:
Online – 3 sessions (attendance at all sessions required) Thursday 23 April 2026, 4.00–6.00pm Thursday 30 April 2026, 4.00–6.00pm Thursday 14 May 2026, 4.00–6.00pm

Reception quality webinar series – schools
During the 2025 autumn term, the Department for Education (DfE) delivered a series of 6 regional improvement for standards and excellence (RISE) webinars on reception quality led by sector experts, including the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), Ofsted and English Hubs.
The aim of these free webinars is to support schools and trusts to increase the number of children who achieve a good level of development (GLD) at the end of their first year in school. We encourage you to share the webinar series with your teams. |

A message from the Secretary of State for EducationNew national CPD programme for Early Years practitioners to help every child thrive
"We need to get this right from the very start of a child’s education. For all early years practitioners, a new national CPD programme will provide free, accessible training focused on inclusive practice, child development, and practical strategies for supporting children with SEND as soon as their education journey begins".

On Family Corner, the Alliance's newly relaunched website for families, there are a wide range of exciting sessions for parents and carers who would like to learn more about supporting their children's learning.
