Welcome to the latest edition |

This time we’re explaining how your feedback is helping us improve council housing services. We listen through group meetings, events and surveys, and use what you tell us to make changes.
Thank you to all our residents who continue to work with us and help shape our services. Your feedback is invaluable. We would love more residents to take part and help shape our services whether that’s helping to review services, improve communication, or shape future changes, so that together we can deliver services that truly meet your needs. To get involved, visit the Resident Engagement page on the Milton Keynes City Council website.
We're also pleased to share that after a recent inspection, we received a positive C2 rating from the Regulator of Social Housing. This means they feel we are providing a good service with strong foundations, while recognising there is more to improve. We're committed to getting better for you. |

What we heard: You told us you want us to be more visible in your community and easier to find and talk to. What we’ve done: We’ve organised Great Get Together events across Milton Keynes. These give you a chance to meet your neighbours, connect with local services and speak directly with housing colleagues and residents that are part of our engagement groups.
A full list of events can be found by clicking this link. |

What we heard: Through our previous resident co-production sessions, a key theme was the need to build greater trust and transparency, with residents asking for more visibility of decision-making and the importance of residents holding the council to account. What we’ve done: We’ve set up a Resident Oversight Committee to check our work and improve transparency. It’s made up of residents being trained and helped by the Tenant Participation Advisory Service (who are tenant engagement experts).
The group is currently looking at complaints, to help improve services. There are still spaces available, with up to 12 members in total.

Letting you know when improvements are happening |
|
What we heard: You told us that information about kitchen and bathroom upgrades could be clearer and needs to explain the process better. What we’ve done: We’ve worked with Mears and residents from the My Repairs group to improve the information. It is now clearer, easier to understand and better explains what to expect. |

Improved ways to share feedback |
|
What we heard: The regulator told us we need to have a better understanding of our residents and their needs. What we’ve done: We worked with residents to design a customer survey that's clear and easy to complete. We also added a paper version so more people can take part.
We're now reviewing the survey and will ask for more feedback to improve it further. |
