Did You Know? We Have a Graduated Response Page Being taught by well-qualified teachers alongside their peers can be really important for children and young people with SEND.
There are a few ways where children and young people can receive support, this includes: - identifying needs early,
- listening to the child/young person and their family in making decisions, setting, outcomes and measuring progress,
- the use of additional resources and support in schools/settings,
- having SEND qualified leadership,
- having good quality assurance processes.
We’re working to improve our SEND provision and the speed in which we support children and young people. This includes updating our current Graduated Response document with Tameside health, education and social care practitioners. Here is our current document.
