Welcome to an extra edition of Cottsway Connect, our ezine for customers who have signed up to our mailing list. In this extra edition, we'd like your help to test a new method of capturing customer feedback and your views on the standards of behaviour we expect from our staff and contractors. We also still have space on Growing Ambitions, which offers work experience with a law firm. It's a fantastic opportunity, and we don't want eligible customers to miss out. What behaviours should you expect from us?From October 2026, the Government is introducing a new standard for social housing providers. The aim is to make sure the people delivering housing services have the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to provide a professional, respectful and customer-focused service. As part of this work, we'd like your feedback on our Behaviour Framework. Known as the 4Ps (you'll see why), it sets out the standards of behaviour we expect from our staff and contractors.

Help us test video feedback online using My Cottsway We're exploring ways for customers to send us short videos to share feedback and would love for you to get involved. If successful, we'll look at developing this further to enable video use to help you with reporting issues or service requests. We'd like to invite you to help test this feature by recording a short video (up to two minutes long) and uploading it through the My Cottsway customer portal.
My Cottsway is available via desktop or as a mobile app, and you'll need to be registered to take part: If you're using the app, please make sure it's updated to the latest version. Once you've logged into My Cottsway, you can upload your video via the 'Requests' section and you'll find further information, including our privacy notice, there. Please submit your video by midnight on Sunday 2 August. Your video will be shared with members of our Customer Committee, so your feedback will be seen and heard directly by Board members. Everyone who uploads a video will receive a short survey about how easy the process was and can enter a prize draw to win a £50 gift card. We're also still looking for customers to help us improve the My Cottsway app. If you're interested, please get in touch Growing Ambitions - law firm work experienceWe have two work experience places available this August through law firm Blake Morgan's Growing Ambitions programme. The opportunity is open to young people aged 16-18 who live in a Cottsway home. It's a great chance to learn about the world of business and explore careers in law. The placement runs from 17-21 August in Botley, Oxford. We can help with travel costs and provide a bursary.
