Hello [#Email Address#]
Here is your weekly update from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council |
|
|
 | New images show vision for the future of Palm Court at Royal Victoria Place
New images published today give residents, businesses and visitors a first look at proposals to transform Palm Court at Royal Victoria Place into a brighter, more welcoming and flexible space.
The plans have planning permission and will be considered as part of the Council's decision-making process in the coming weeks, with a final decision due at Full Council on 11 November.
The proposals focus on modernising Palm Court, improving accessibility and creating a space that can adapt to a range of uses and events. They form part of the wider vision to help Royal Victoria Place evolve from a traditional shopping centre into a destination where people can shop, meet, eat, spend time and enjoy leisure activities.
The plans also create larger retail units, improve facilities for visitors and bring the existing basement space back into active use through a new leisure offer, creating more reasons for people to visit and spend time in the town centre.

 | RTWSO's latest season begins
The RTWSO opens its new season with a programme full of contrasts: intimate, dramatic and hugely uplifting by turns. We're delighted to welcome cellist Laura van der Heijden, whose warm, expressive playing makes her an ideal soloist for Elgar's Cello Concerto. This is one of the great English orchestral works, full of long, singing lines, quiet reflection and emotional depth that unfolds naturally as you listen.

Your food waste is collected weekly on the same day as your recycling or household waste collection; it may be collected at a different time of the day.
Got an awkward or bulky item to dispose of? Our bulky waste collection service will remove heavy or large items too big to fit in your bin. To visit the household waste recycling centre at North Farm you must book a slot in advance using the Kent County Council booking system.
Remember you can put old batteries out during your recycling collection week and small electrical items and textiles on your household waste collection week.
Check our waste and recycling pages for more information. |
