 | Help Put Kent Back on the European Rail Map
Could restored international rail services make your journey to Europe easier?
Bring Back Euro Trains is asking residents to register the routes they would use from Ashford or Ebbsfleet. Every response helps build the case for bringing international services back to Kent's stations. Take part and make your voice heard.

 | Donations Needed for Humanitarian Aid truck to Ukraine for early September
KentRelief is planning its next truckload of humanitarian aid to Ukraine in early September. This shipment includes food, medical supplies and hygiene items for beneficiaries in frontline villages, as well as lifesaving firefighting equipment destined for fire stations in eastern Ukraine.
We are raising funds to cover the transport costs, which have now risen to £5,000 because of increasing fuel prices. If you are able to help us get this aid to Ukraine and support people who are desperately in need, we would be incredibly grateful.
Please see details below on ways to donate: Account Name: KentRelief Account Number: 44520968 Sort code: 30-99-50
You can also donate to us via the Charities Aid Foundation www.cafonline.org/home/donate

There are no changes to bin collections following the late August bank holiday. |
|
|
|
Your food waste is collected weekly on the same day as your recycling or household waste collection; it may be collected at a different time of the day.
Got an awkward or bulky item to dispose of? Our bulky waste collection service will remove heavy or large items too big to fit in your bin. To visit the household waste recycling centre at North Farm you must book a slot in advance using the Kent County Council booking system.
Remember you can put old batteries out during your recycling collection week and small electrical items and textiles on your household waste collection week.
Check our waste and recycling pages for more information. |

Launching this October 2026, the Paddock Wood Fringe is a month-long, community-led arts festival running alongside the Paddock Wood Proms. As a non-profit "open-doors" festival, it aims to reduce isolation and bring the community together by offering an entirely free programme of music, comedy, dance, visual arts, and spoken word.
