New Complaints Handling Code


The Housing Ombudsman Service's new statutory Complaints Handling Code came into force on 1st April 2024. The Code sets out how Housing Associations must deal with complaints, and is designed to promote improvements for residents in complaints handling.

6 weeks of children not being at school can be a daunting time for many with costs, below are some activities, offers and ideas to keep the kids entertained and alleviate the pressure.


Check your local council for the 'Holiday activities and Food (HAF) programme', you have to meet the eligibility criteria which allows for your child to partake in 2 x 6 hour sessions a week including breakfast and lunch!

Many restaurants and supermarket cafe's offer deals for kids to eat for £1 or free during the summer holidays. Here is an up-to-date list of some of the current offers: MoneySavingExpert 


Also check your local council's website for digital food vouchers during school holidays, free activity days (I.E. Broxbourne council are holiday 'Waltham Cross Summer of Fun'), or any other independent help offered during the holidays.
