A new routine: Bins, Bath, Bed. Residents who live in houses, including houses split into flats, must now present their bins at the edge of their property, ready for collection. We start collections from 6am and advise that you present your bins the night before your collection day: ✓ Place your bins at the edge of your property, for example, next to your gate or end of your drive. ✓ Where possible, you should place the handles of the bins facing towards the road. ✗ Avoid placing your bins on the pavement and obstructing pedestrians. ✗ Do not leave side waste next to your bins. ✗ Do not present a bin without the lid being fully shut.
If you’re unsure as to how you should present bins, view the Be Bin Day Ready guidance > |

Shaping Services Together!
Co-production Week 2024 takes place this week from 1 to 5 July 2024, with this year’s theme being ‘Co-production: What’s Missing?’ Co-production involves working with residents, carers, local stakeholders, councillors, and Newham officers. It aims to give residents choice and control over how services are shaped across Adults and Health, and beyond.
Due to the general election the Co-production Week event will take place on Thursday 11 July, from 11am to 2pm at Highways Vineyard Church, Romford Road. We will have local stalls, services and a panel discussion about ‘what’s missing’ in co-production. Book your place here at the Co-Production Week event > |
